ZAGREB – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE

Arrive in captivating Belgrade by late afternoon, where you’ll have free time to explore and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere. BELGRADE

Embark on a morning sightseeing tour of Belgrade, the Serbian capital. Explore the upscale district of Dedinje, marvel at the unique architecture of TV Pink, and visit renowned markets like Republic Square. Pass by important landmarks such as the Parliament, Terazije, and Slavia, while strolling along the main streets like Knez Mihailova. The tour concludes at the magnificent Kalemegdan Fortress, offering breathtaking views of the city and the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace, immersing yourself in the city’s culture and making personal discoveries.

DAY 5
NIS – SKOPJE

Leave the hotel in the morning, driving to Skopje via Niš, one of the oldest Balkan cities. A historic crossroads between East and West, Niš has evolved into a significant Serbian industrial hub. Arrive in Skopje later, check in to your hotel, and enjoy free time to explore the city.

DAY 6
SKOPJE – OHRID

Enjoy the morning in the Macedonian capital, Skopje, by embarking on a sightseeing tour. Explore the iconic landmarks such as the stone bridge, the church of St. Spas, the Kale fortress, and a beautiful mosque. Stroll through the picturesque old bazaar, soaking in the unique atmosphere and experiencing the local culture. In the afternoon, set off on a scenic drive to the stunning Lake Ohrid. Upon arrival, check-in to your accommodation by the lake, where you can relax and enjoy some free time to bask in the natural beauty of this enchanting destination.

OHRID – TIRANA

The town of Ohrid, renowned as the « town of 365 churches, » was once hailed as the second Jerusalem due to its abundant religious sites. Though it currently boasts 70 churches, it is still recognized by UNESCO as one of the oldest and most intact architectural ensembles in Southeastern Europe. After exploring Ohrid, the journey continues to Albania’s capital, Tirana, a city blessed with a pleasant Mediterranean climate. Tirana showcases numerous beautiful churches, lush parks, and notable landmarks such as the Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, Palace of Culture, and the impressive monument to Mother Albania.

DAY 8
SKADAR LAKE – PODGORICA

Embark on a scenic drive to Montenegro, with a delightful stop along the way to visit and appreciate the beauty of Skadar Lake. This remarkable lake serves as the last habitat for pelicans and stands as the largest bird preservation park in Europe. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Enjoy a short guided walk through the city center, where you will uncover its colorful history through landmarks such as the Doganjka Mosque, Republic Square, Millenium Bridge, Vysotsky Monument, Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, King Nikola’s Castle, and a tower clock dating back to the 17th century. Accommodation will be provided in a hotel, and you will have free time to explore the capital at your own pace.

DAY 9
BUDVA – KOTOR – DUBROVNIK

After departing from the capital, enjoy a refreshing morning coffee in the coastal town of Budva. Later, continue your journey to Kotor, situated along one of Montenegro’s most stunning bays and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take in the beauty of this historic town and its impressive architecture. Before crossing back into Croatia, make a final stop at the hidden gem of Perast. This charming city flourished in the 18th century, resulting in a wealth of architectural marvels such as the ship owners’ and sea captains’ buildings, the baroque palace Bujovića (now the County Museum), and the Maritime School building. In the late afternoon, drive to Dubrovnik, the renowned Croatian pearl on the Adriatic. Accommodation will be provided in the Dubrovnik area for an overnight stay.

DUBROVNIK

Dubrovnik truly stands as a unique jewel along the Adriatic coast and is renowned as one of the most iconic cities in the world. In its heyday, the city-state of Dubrovnik played a pivotal role as a significant merchant town in the Adriatic region. Embark on a memorable walk along the medieval walls that encompass the old city center, unraveling its ancient secrets. Pass through the Pile gate, visit the Franciscan monastery, explore the grand Rectors’ Palace, and be awe-struck by the magnificent city walls. The afternoon provides free time to explore the city at your own pace or join an optional tour to the nearby island of Lokrum, known for its Fort Royale, Botanical Garden, and monastery.

DAY 11
MOSTAR – SARAJEVO

It’s time to venture into Bosnia! Your first destination will be the renowned city of Mostar, known for its Ottoman-era monument. Take a leisurely stroll through the enchanting old town, meander along medieval streets, and be captivated by the sight of young daredevils diving from the famous Old Bridge into the refreshing waters of the cold Neretva River. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Sarajevo, the vibrant capital of Bosnia. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the city and immersing yourself in its rich culture and history.

SARAJEVO

Let’s start with some sightseeing of the city’s attractions: Baščaršija, the Begova Mosque, which is one of the most typical religious buildings in the Balkans; the City Hall, and the Princip Bridge, offering a view of three different religious buildings: the Catholic church, the synagogue, and the mosque. We will continue our sightseeing with a visit to Ilidza. There will also be time to enjoy some traditional Bosnian delicacies such as meatballs, meat patties, sweet tufahija, and more. Additionally, you may consider exploring the city’s entertainment options for further enjoyment.

DAY 13
SPLIT

In the morning, we will drive back to the Dalmatian coast to visit Split, the capital city of Dalmatia. The old city center, including the Roman Diocletian Palace, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the most impressive ancient Roman monument in Croatia. Upon arrival, we will have lunch and then spend the afternoon exploring the city center with a guided city tour. The tour will take you to the Roman Diocletian Palace, St. Duje Cathedral, The Golden Gate, and the famous Split riva. The rest of the day will be free for you to enjoy the town at your own leisure.

DAY 14
PLTIVICE – ZAGREB

Leaving the coastline, let’s explore Croatia’s interior. Discover Plitvice National Park, an extraordinary UNESCO site with cascading lakes, waterfalls, and forest paths. After immersing in nature, return to Zagreb for a group farewell dinner. Reflect on shared experiences and plan for future adventures.
