At the beginning of the 20th century town was already known as the most beautiful health spa of the then Austrian empire which has been attracted the European aristocratic elite. Nowadays Bled still attracts people from all over the world to visit one of the most picturesque Alpine lakes in the world.


Piran is small town which is a cultural monument of Slovenian Istria and the closest neighbour of Portorož. Town is beloved by visitors and by the eye of the camera, its image is known all over the world. Its architecture is influenced by the Venetian Republic. Main Square is called Tartini Square and is the gem found in the very centre of Piran. Piran is a member of the European Walled Cities Association. Today town is National historical monument earn their living mainly by tourism. Town is very much alive especially in summer time when numerous events take place. Its patron saint is St. George which Church raises above the town. From its medieval wall and lookout towers you have a wonderful view of Piran gulf and its surroundings and all the way across the sea to the Croatian and Italian Coast.
