Ana from Dubrovnik, Croatia says: “My favourite time to take guests on a guided tour of Dubrovnik is later in the afternoon. That way we can walk along the Dubrovnik city walls when the sun goes down and I am able to show them all the amazing colours of Dubrovnik. Afterwards I like to take them to my favourite spot on the city walls, where they can enjoy the sunset with a nice glass of local wine.

Mario from Croatia likes longer tours with groups, so he can spend as much time as possible with the customers. “When touring Croatia or any other country on the Balkans, I like to instruct the driver to take a local road instead of the highway. This way the group can get more in-sight into the local life and traditions and the panorama is certainly nicer then on the highway. Of course, we also make photo stops on the most beautiful viewpoints!”

Jana from Maribor is out local expert for historical and cultural trips across Slovenia. “I prefer smaller groups, so we can all interact with each other. That way we can also visit places, that might not be reachable with a larger bus or group. Instead of wine tasting in a well-known wine cellar we can visit a local “zidanica” in the middle of the vineyards and experience the authentic traditions together with the locals. We can hike up to the hill above the Bled lake to get the famous photo with lake and Bled island in the background and afterwards we can visit a local farm to try some of them home-made schnapps and other products.”
