We value sustainable and green travel; therefore, we are proud to hold the Responsible travel standards of Slovenian Tourism GREEN&SAFE label and the Safe Travels stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).
By obtaining Green & Safe certificate, Palma travel DMC is committed to follow the superior hygiene standards and protocols and sustainable recommendations issued by Slovenian Tourist Board in accordance with National Institute of Public Health.
With this label we are ensuring that our travels are green and safe, and that we carry out all the hygiene requirements and health protection protocols to provide safety of our guests, as well as employees and local community.
The Responsible travel standards of Slovenian Tourism GREEN&SAFE label was issued by Slovenian Tourist Board in order to encourage more sustainable travels among tourism providers and travel organisers. For years Slovenia has strived to become responsible, green and travel safe country. With high awareness that tourism of the future is in sustainability, green, safe, and sustainable principles were imbedded in the strategy of Slovenian tourism development.
Hard efforts were paid off as Slovenia became the Greenest country in the world in 2016 and listed as one of the safest countries in the world in 2019 (reaching no. 8 by the Global Peace Index).
Being one of the first countries in the world to receive the Safe Travels Stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), it confirms that health and safety standards of the Responsible travel standards of Slovenian Tourism GREEN&SAFE label are in compliance with global health and hygiene protocols for experiencing safe travel.
